Terms

1. Scope and Acceptance

1. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the TilliT Dating mobile application and website (the "Service").
2. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
3. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

1. You must be at least 18 years old.
2. You must have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. You must provide accurate and truthful information. TilliT reserves the right to request age verification.

3. Account Registration

1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
2. You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate others.
3. TilliT may suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Nature of the Service

1. TilliT is a digital platform that facilitates introductions between users.
2. TilliT does not guarantee matches, compatibility, or outcomes.
3. TilliT is not responsible for user behavior offline or outside the platform.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, violent, or sexually exploitative content.
• Harass, threaten, or stalk other users.
• Use bots, scraping tools, or automated systems.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the Service.
• Share financial details or request money from other users.

Violation may result in immediate account termination.

6. User Content & License

1. You retain ownership of content you upload.
2. By uploading content, you grant TilliT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, adapt, and display such content solely for operating and improving the Service.
3. You confirm you have the rights to all content you upload. TilliT may remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Moderation & Digital Services Act Compliance

1. Users may report illegal or harmful content via [report email / in-app tool].
2. TilliT will review reports in accordance with EU Digital Services Act obligations.
3. Users may appeal moderation decisions.

8. Subscriptions & Payments

1. TilliT may offer paid subscriptions (e.g., Premium, Boost features).
2. Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT (where applicable).
3. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4. You may cancel at any time via your app store account or account settings.
5. Refunds are granted only where required under Dutch or EU law.

9. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

1. If you purchase a subscription online, you have a 14-day withdrawal right under EU consumer law.
2. By activating premium features immediately, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you may lose your right of withdrawal once the digital service has been fully performed.

10. Privacy & GDPR

1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the TilliT Privacy Policy.
2. TilliT acts as data controller under the GDPR.
3. Users have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability.
4. Users may lodge complaints with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

11. Safety Disclaimer

1. TilliT does not conduct criminal background checks unless explicitly stated.
2. Users interact at their own risk.
3. Users are responsible for exercising caution when meeting others offline.

12. Intellectual Property

1. All intellectual property related to the Service (software, branding, design, algorithms) remains the property of TilliT or its licensors.
2. No rights are granted except those expressly stated in these Terms.

13. Limitation of Liability

1. To the extent permitted by Dutch law, TilliT's liability is limited to direct damages up to the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months.
2. TilliT is not liable for indirect damages, including loss of profit or reputational harm.
3. Nothing limits liability for intent (opzet) or gross negligence (grove schuld).

14. Termination

1. Users may delete their account at any time.
2. TilliT may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms.
3. Certain provisions (liability, IP, dispute resolution) survive termination.

15. Amendments

1. TilliT may amend these Terms.
2. Material changes will be communicated in advance.
3. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

1. These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
2. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
